Steve is a hell of a examiner :D

It was a fantastic opportunity to challenge my actual knowledge and make it even better. There were still plenty of things I didn't know and Steve made it all clear. He's been giving us tips during the whole course. What a pitty we didn't have enough wind to fully evaluate our teaching skills, nevertheless I really enjoyed these 5 days. There was a friendly atmosphere, which was good for all of us

Great introductory lesson with  a good instructor who is always willing to give advice and help about things even after the lesson.

Tried different types of controls available - bar and a different one, would have been nice to try the slightly bigger kite, but I guess we were a bit short of time so maybe need more than 1 lesson for those wanting to experience what it's like with the different sizes.

Hi Steve,

I would like to thank you for the excellent course I received a few weeks ago.  I really enjoyed it and feel I learned all basics which I need to need to know to be safe with the kite on the water.  I have decided to carry on and properly learn to stand up on the board and also get a much better feeling of the control of the kite.  Your follow-up email is very helpful to find the right information online as well as equipment.

Thank you for everything.

Best regards,

After asking a number of kite surfers in Shoeburyness who the best trainers were Steve & his guys were always recommended, even though there are other bigger training companies with much funkier websites.

Since Steve & his guys train everybody from complete beginners to full instructors so they are very experienced. As a complete beginner I went on the 2 days course which was very good. During the weekend the focus was clearly on helping us getting into the sport which Steve & his guys are passionate about.

They look the job of instructing us & safety very seriously, with 2 students per trainer. Whilst the cost of £240 is still a big sum of cash compared to £100 to fill the car up with petrol & the fact they provided all the gear which was of very high quality made the weekend very good value.

I will be booking up for private lessons of which they will supply the kit for which makes this work out better value than buying a kite on ebay which may or may not work. Once I am competent I will buy my own kite & board, however until then I am more than happy with Steve & his guys getting me out on the water.

Over all I thought the course was very good, provided excellent training in a safe environment & was very good value for money.
